Region XXIV Programs Make Moves in Latest NJCAA Rankings

Region XXIV continued to make national noise this week as multiple men’s and women’s basketball programs earned recognition in the latest NJCAA polls.

Men’s Basketball

In Division I men’s basketball, Vincennes checked in at No. 4, remaining among the nation’s elite. John A. Logan also entered the national conversation this week, earning Receiving Votes.

Division II men’s basketball featured two Region XXIV programs in the Top 10, led by Danville Area at No. 8 and Parkland at No. 10, continuing the region’s strong depth across the division.

Women’s Basketball

Southwestern Illinois continued its upward push in Division I women’s basketball, moving to No. 16 in this week’s poll.

Region XXIV once again stacked the Division II women’s rankings, with Parkland at No. 5, Illinois Central at No. 8, and Lincoln Land at No. 10. Lake Land also appeared in the poll as a Receiving Votes program, adding another team to the region’s national presence.
