Five Region XXIV Teams Ready to Battle at NJCAA Division II National Basketball Tournament

Region XXIV will once again be well represented on the national stage as several men’s and women’s basketball programs secured bids to the NJCAA Division II National Basketball Tournaments.

Women’s Basketball

Three Region XXIV programs earned spots in the NJCAA Division II Women’s Basketball National Tournament. Illinois Central leads the group as the No. 2 seed, entering the tournament among the national favorites.

Lincoln Land secured the No. 9 seed, while Parkland earned the No. 10 seed, giving the region three teams competing for a national championship.

Men’s Basketball

Region XXIV will also be represented on the men’s side of the bracket. Danville Area enters the NJCAA Division II Men’s Basketball National Tournament as the No. 7 seed, while Parkland earned the No. 11 seed.

Both programs will look to make a deep run as the tournament field begins play on the national stage.
