From Diamond to Links, Region XXIV Keeps Rolling

Region XXIV once again showed its depth across the national landscape as baseball, softball, and golf programs earned recognition in the latest NJCAA rankings.

Baseball

In Division I baseball, John A. Logan led the region at No. 22, followed closely by Wabash Valley at No. 24, while Lake Land also appeared in the national conversation as a Receiving Votes program.

Division II baseball featured Heartland ranked No. 6, continuing its strong season on the national stage.

Softball

Division I softball saw John A. Logan earn Receiving Votes recognition.

In Division II softball, Parkland checked in at No. 17, Illinois Central followed at No. 20, and Danville Area also earned Receiving Votes, giving the region multiple nationally recognized teams.

Men’s Golf

Division I men’s golf included John A. Logan at No. 20 in the national rankings.

Division II men’s golf featured Heartland at No. 2, while Illinois Central checked in at No. 12, keeping both programs among the nation’s best.

Women’s Golf

Division I women’s golf saw John A. Logan ranked No. 23, while Rend Lake appeared at No. 16 in the Division II poll.
