Region XXIV Continues National Presence Across Spring Sports
Region XXIV once again showed its depth across the national landscape as baseball, softball, and golf programs earned recognition in the latest NJCAA rankings.
Baseball
In Division I baseball, John A. Logan checked in at No. 19, followed by Wabash Valley at No. 22, while Lake Land also earned Receiving Votes recognition.
Division II baseball featured Heartland ranked No. 16, continuing its strong presence nationally.
Softball
Division I softball saw both John A. Logan and Lake Land earn Receiving Votes, adding two Region XXIV programs to the national conversation.
In Division II softball, Parkland ranked No. 16, while Illinois Central followed at No. 18, giving the region two ranked teams.
Men’s Golf
Division I men’s golf included John A. Logan at No. 19 in the national rankings.
Division II men’s golf featured Heartland at No. 3, while Illinois Central checked in at No. 12, keeping both programs among the nation’s best.
Women’s Golf
Division I women’s golf saw John A. Logan ranked No. 23, while Rend Lake appeared at No. 16 in the Division II poll. Danville Area also earned Receiving Votes recognition.
